Ingredients
Please scroll down to below recipe card for exact measurements.
- Large eggs: if you want a bright yellow omelette, go for free-range eggs with Omega 3's.
- Fresh chopped dill: I would avoid using dried dill.
- Butter of your choice: if you're dairy-free, feel free to use a dairy-free butter spread of your choice
- Salt & pepper
Expert Tips
- Cook eggs on low heat (level 3 on the dial). This ensures you do not overcook the eggs.
- Once the eggs, take shape after scrambling them pay attention to the moisture level. The eggs should be moist looking (but not runny) and you should remove them from the pan at this point as the residual heat will continue to cook them. They should not be dry or crumbly.
How to make Dill Scrambled Eggs
Beat Eggs, Dill & Melted Butter
In a large bowl, crack your eggs. Add your finely chopped fresh dill along with 1 teaspoon of melted butter. Whisk eggs until well combined.
Cook Eggs on Low Heat
In a non-stick pan set on low heat, heat 1 teaspoon of butter and swirl it around to coat the pan. Once you have a hot pan, pour your egg mixture in. With a spatula slowly stir eggs until they take shape.
Fold the Eggs
Once the eggs take form and look moist on the inside, fold your eggs over.
Remove Eggs From Pan
Cook for another 30-60 seconds. Immediately transfer to a serving plate. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with more dill if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Storage & Reheating
Leftovers will last up to 4 days stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. To reheat, microwave for 2-3 minutes until hot or reheat in a pan on medium heat.
