What is a Dragon Fruit Smoothie?
This dragon fruit smoothie is so refreshing and fruity as it contains a variety of fruits that are so good for you. The main star being pitaya or dragon fruit with strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, apple, banana, yogurt, milk of choice and maple syrup. You can enjoy this smoothie for breakfast, as a snack or even for dessert!
You can also use any dragon you enjoy, such as white dragon fruit, red dragon fruit, pink dragon fruit and yellow skin dragonfruit. My favourite dragon fruit are the yellow ones as they taste like a fruity honey. If you've never tried it you must! But the one I'm using for this recipe is the red one known as "Dragon fruit Hylocereus". That's what gives this vibrant smoothie its color.
Ingredients
You will need the following dragon fruit smoothie ingredients:
- Fresh dragon fruit or pitaya: feel free to use any kind of dragon fruit that you enjoy
- Frozen berry mix (blackberries, blueberries and raspberries)
- Apple
- Frozen strawberries
- Banana
- Vanilla vegan yogurt: if you're vegan substitute with dairy-free vegan yogurt
- Milk of choice: like oat milk, almond milk or soy milk
- Maple syrup: or sub with honey
- Ice cubes
How to make Dragon Fruit Smoothie
- Pour all the ingredients into your blender.
- Blend until smooth. Transfer to a glass and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberries frozen
- ½ cup dragon fruit
- ½ cup blackberries frozen
- ½ cup blueberries frozen
- ½ cup raspberries frozen
